The Deschutes Soil and Water Conservation District will be
holding its annual meeting on June 26, 2025, and it will be open to the public. This meeting will be held at the Village Green Park, 305 S. Fir Street
Sisters, OR 97759 at 10 AM. We will meet at 10 AM at the park and carpool to a project site at
Rimrock Ranch followed by lunch in Village Green Park. The
following documents will be
available: 2023-2024 Annual
Report, 2025-2026 Annual Work Plan and Annual Budget, and 2023-2024 Financial Statement. You may contact Erin Kilcullen at 541-550-6834 or erin@

Public Comment Period – U.S. 97 Parkway Plan
Amendment
ODOT is working with the City of Bend on a proposed amendment to the U.S. 97 Parkway Plan. The plan amendment changes
recommendations for Hawthorne Avenue in the U.S. 97 Parkway Plan and proposes closure of the Hawthorne Access due to safety issues and design considerations for the Hawthorne Overcrossing project. Members of the public are invited to review the plan changes and submit comment by October 31st.
